Natural Soil Amendment
Farm Produced by Blooming Faith Farm
π± Give Your Plants a Natural Soil Boost
Give your plants and soil a natural boost with Premium Worm Castings from Blooming Faith Farm.
Our worm castings are produced right here on our farm by our own red wiggler worms. We carefully process and finely screen the finished castings to create a consistent, easy-to-use soil amendment for gardens, containers, potting mixes, houseplants, seedlings and established plants.
Worm castings are the natural material produced as earthworms digest and process organic materials. They add organic matter and naturally occurring nutrients and microorganisms to the growing environment.
πΏ Why Use Worm Castings?
- Adds organic matter to the soil
- Provides naturally occurring nutrients
- Supports healthy soil and root-zone conditions
- Can help improve soil structure and moisture management
- Gentle enough for use around seedlings and established plants
- Easy to mix into potting soil or use as a top dressing
- Great for gardens, containers, houseplants, flowers, vegetables, herbs and more
π± How Much Should I Use?
Seed Starting Mix
Mix approximately 10β20% worm castings into your growing medium. For very young seedlings, use the lower end of the range.
Transplanting
Mix a small amount of worm castings into the surrounding soil when transplanting. For small plants, approximately 1β2 tablespoons is a good starting amount. Use more for larger plants and larger planting areas.
New Potting Mix
Mix approximately 10β20% worm castings by volume into your potting mix. Mix thoroughly before planting.
Garden Beds
Spread a layer of worm castings over the planting area and gently work them into the top few inches of soil. For general soil improvement, approximately ΒΌβΒ½ inch of castings spread over the soil surface is a good starting point.
Top Dressing
Apply a light layer around established plants, keeping the castings slightly away from direct contact with the plant stem. Water normally after applying.

πΎ From Our Worms to Your Garden
Our worm castings come directly from Blooming Faith Farm's own red wiggler worm operation.
We raise our worms here on the farm and feed them a combination of pre-compost, our own custom worm chow blend, and cardboard. The worms naturally process these materials, creating the castings we harvest for use as a soil amendment.
Once harvested, our castings are carefully prepared and finely screened before being packaged for gardeners.
